Shrimp Marinade
- In a bowl add all ingredients listed under “Shrimp Marinade” and mix until thoroughly combined.
Assemble
- In a large pan over medium heat, sear the marinated shrimp on both sides until golden brown and set aside.
- In the same pan, add unsalted butter, shallots, sliced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for a few minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant.
- Then, add in white wine, lemon juice and parsley. Cook 4-5 minutes and reduce slightly. This will allow the alcohol to cook out and deepen the flavor.
- Next, add the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Allow to cook until the sauce has thickened.
- Then, add in the cooked linguine and mix until pasta is coated.
- Return shrimp to the pan and top with parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately.
