Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 2 tbsp parsley chopped
- 1 tbsp dill chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic grated or minced
- 1/2 tsp thyme chopped
- 1/2 tsp mint chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 6 burger buns
- Lettuce optional
- Tomato optional
- Onion optional
Tzatziki Sauce
- 1 cup greek whole milk yogurt plain
- 1/2 cup cucumber grated and drained
- 1 tbsp dill chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic grated or minced
- 1/2 tsp thyme chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Pinch of sugar
Instructions
Tzatziki Sauce
- In a bowl add in all the tzatziki sauce ingredients.
- Mix thoroughly, cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Should hold in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
Lamb Smash Burger
- Combine all lamb smash burger ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Form into golf ball size rounds. Should get about 6 meat balls out of the mixture. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat up a cast iron pan over medium heat.
- Add in your lamb meat balls and press down firmly to spread out.
- Cook on each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, onion and the tzatziki sauce.
