Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic grated or minced
  • 1/2 tsp thyme chopped
  • 1/2 tsp mint chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 6 burger buns
  • Lettuce optional
  • Tomato optional
  • Onion optional

Tzatziki Sauce

  • 1 cup greek whole milk yogurt plain
  • 1/2 cup cucumber grated and drained
  • 1 tbsp dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic grated or minced
  • 1/2 tsp thyme chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of sugar

Instructions

Tzatziki Sauce

  • In a bowl add in all the tzatziki sauce ingredients.
  • Mix thoroughly, cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Should hold in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.

Lamb Smash Burger

  • Combine all lamb smash burger ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  • Form into golf ball size rounds. Should get about 6 meat balls out of the mixture. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
  • Heat up a cast iron pan over medium heat.
  • Add in your lamb meat balls and press down firmly to spread out.
  • Cook on each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, onion and the tzatziki sauce.
  • Enjoy!
